Joby James, Founder & CEO
Joby James founded CyberSainya with a vision to help organizations harness the power of information technology, data, and AI—guiding them confidently through their digital transformation journey. He works with senior technology and business leaders to align technology strategy with organizational goals, helping teams modernize systems, strengthen resilience, and unlock new opportunities through emerging technologies.
Previously, Joby served as Cisco’s Security Sales Leader for the Mid-Atlantic region, where he advised technology and risk leaders on large-scale security and digital modernization initiatives. In this role, he led cross-functional teams spanning sales, engineering, and product specialists to design architectures and deploy solutions supporting a wide range of organizations across government, education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
With over two decades of experience across sales leadership, engineering, and product development at Cisco, Webex, SITA-Equant, and HCL, Joby brings a rare combination of strategic business perspective and deep technical expertise. His career has focused on helping organizations translate complex technologies into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact.
Joby holds a Professional Certificate in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bharathiyar University, India.
Dr. Diya Abraham, Ph.D- Co-Founder
Dr. Diya Abraham is a neuroscientist, researcher, and mentor whose work bridges science, technology, and education. She earned her doctorate in Neuroscience from the Max Planck Institute in Germany and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research on circadian rhythms—the genes that regulate our internal biological clocks—has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals and presented at international scientific conferences. She has also contributed to numerous scientific and education consulting engagements, helping organizations translate research insights into practical applications.
As a co-founder of CyberSainya, she brings scientific rigor and systems thinking to the evolving world of digital technology, AI, and information systems. Drawing on extensive exposure to the technology industry, she helps bridge technical innovation with business strategy, translating complex concepts into accessible frameworks that guide organizations and individuals in navigating the digital and AI era. She also collaborates with policymakers and educators to promote informed decision-making and strengthen digital and AI literacy in learning environments.
